WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – JDRF is an organization focused on type 1 diabetes research.
Students at Anderson Elementary School in Wilmington raised money for the organization for this year’s “JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes” event.
The top three students who raised the most money for the walk were given the opportunity to hit Jon Evans in the face with a pie.
