WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The New Hanover County Sheriff's Office Detectives need your help in locating the man who robbed the Best Western Motel in the 5600 block of Carolina Beach Rd. Tuesday night.
According to police, the suspect is a white male. He was wearing a black ball cap with
white writing or a symbol on it, black sweatshirt (no hood), white cloth covering his
face, black pants, white undershirt, black shoes and black gloves.
Authorities say he is over 6-feet tall and between 150-180 pounds.

The name of the suspect has not been released yet.
The New Hanover County Sheriff's Office responded to a robbery that happened in the 5600 block of Carolina Beach Rd., Tuesday night, at the Best Western.
According to Cpl. Phillips with the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office, a white man with a knife came into the hotel demanding money.
He showed his weapon to the employee working behind the desk and then jumped over the counter and stole about $300 from the hotel.
