NEW HANOVER COUNTY,
NC (WECT) – One step has been completed in the removal of bed bugs at a fire
station in New Hanover County.
Pest control
crews came in again and removed the bugs over the weekend.
Now, everything has to be wiped down with a cleaning
chemical. Then, firefighters can start moving things back inside the building.|
Officials said the worst spot was where the firefighters sleep at night, so
crews had to spend overnight shifts in the daytime side of the station.
