SOUTHEASTERN NC (WECT) –The National Hurricane Center continues a Tropical Storm Warning for New Hanover, Pender and Onslow counties.
As of 5 a.m. the Tropical Storm Warning for Brunswick County has been discontinued.
A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions (winds 39+ mph) can be expected within 36 hours.
Gusty winds can be expected to continue through Sunday. Winds will diminish but remain breezy for a long duration into Monday or Tuesday.
