Lane on River Road to close Thursday for repairs
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Crews with the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will be making repairs to a leaking water line in the 3300 block of River Road starting Thursday at 9 a.m.
As a result, the southbound lane of River Road in front of River Road will be closed, and traffic will be forced to use one lane. An official will be at the work site to direct traffic around the work zone.
Additionally, a city contractor will be putting in a tap for the fire department in that area.
It is expected that the repairs will be finished by 5 p.m.
