Spring forward tonight; daylight saving time starts

Spring forward tonight; daylight saving time starts

SOUTHEASTERN NC (WECT) – Don’t forget that daylight saving time starts this weekend, which means that, sadly, we’ll all lose an hour of sleep.

But on the bright side, we’ll have a little bit more time to enjoy the sunshine every day as summer approaches.

Don’t forget before you go to bed tonight to set all of your clocks, watches, microwaves and ovens ahead one hour. Most smart phones will adjust on their own at 2 a.m. on Sunday, so you don’t have to worry about them.
