NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – As part of observing National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness, the New Hanover County Health Department will be offering free, confidential HIV screenings Saturday via its HIV Outreach program, according to a news release.
The event will be held at the Wilmington Tigers game from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Legion Stadium.
The Center for Disease Control recommends that everyone between 13 and 64 be tested for HIV at least once, according to the news release.
