Halyburton Park offering bird class | Community Spirit

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – If you’ve ever wanted to learn about birds, consider checking out a Backyard Birding and Bird Feeding nature class at Halyburton Park.

A session will be held Satuday, Feb. 9, and according to a program spokesperson, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., you can join a park naturalist and learn all about birds with finding out what treats and feeders attract the animals.

You can also learn about birding basics on a hike through the woods.

The cost to participate is $10, and each participant will get a sample seed bag.

Preregistration is required.
