NHC Board of Commissioners looking for residents to apply to boards, committees | Community Spirit

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners is looking for interested county residents to apply to be appointed to several boards and committees, according to a news release from a county spokesperson.

Citizens are encouraged to apply for spots in the following:

• NHC Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee
• NHC Board of Health (Category: professional engineer)
• NHC Plumbing Board of Examiners (Category: master and journeyman plumbers)
• NHC Zoning Board of Adjustment
• Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County

Applications need to be submitted for consideration by Oct. 30.

They can be picked up at the Board of Commissioners Office at the New Hanover County Government Center, which is located at 230 Government Center Drive, Suite 175. Applications can also be found online by visiting www.nhcgov.com.
