NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Screaming Eagles hosted the Topsail Pirates Friday in week 4 of high school football.

Ashley High School dedicated the game to Heather love Fasano, who passed away after a 12-year battle with cancer. Heather’s oldest daughter is an Ashley graduate.

Topsail led 17-0 at the half and kept the lead for the remainder of the game.

Final score: Topsail 28, Ashley 7.

This Friday Ashley hits the road to face Fairmont while Topsail will host Jacksonville Northside.
