Slice of Life sponsors Relay for Life kickoff party

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The 2nd annual Relay for Life Kickoff Party will take place Wednesday evening at Slice of Life in the Pine Valley area.

A $5 donation will be collected at the door with all proceeds benefiting Relay for Life. Additionally, 10 percent of sales will also be donated to the cause.

The event will feature music, raffles and giveaways from Sweetwater 420 and Slice of Life.

The event starts at 5:00 p.m. and is expected to wrap up around 9:00 p.m.

The 2012 New Hanover County Relay for Life event will take place Friday at Ashley High School.
