Schools to hold open houses for incoming freshmen | Children

NEW HANOVER CO., NC (WECT) - Ashley, Laney and New Hanover High Schools will host open houses for rising ninth grade students who will enter high school in the 2013-2014 school year.

Hoggard High School held its open house in January.

Students and parents will have an opportunity to learn about high school life and meet teachers and other faculty members.

Ashley High School

• Thursday, March 14

Laney High School

• Thursday, February 21
• Thursday, February 26
• 6:00 p.m.
• Laney High School cafeteria 
• North College Road

New Hanover High School

• Monday, February 18 (rising 9th grade students from private schools)
• 6:00 p.m.
• Week of  March 11-14*
• 6:00 p.m.
• New Hanover High School media center
• Market Street

*NHCS eighth grade students and parents will be invited to attend on the selected night for each middle school that feeds students into NHHS. Contact the school for more details.
