Officials from the community, including area businesses and government agencies, will judge the projects from 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The public can view the projects from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and an awards center will take place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Minnie Evans Art Center, adjacent to Murray Middle.
Winning projects will go to the regional science fair competition, scheduled for Feb. 9 at UNCW’s Hanover Hall.
