NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Start gathering your gently used children and maternity clothes and items – Pass It On Cape Fear will soon be in Wilmington.
According to a press release, the company is dedicated to supporting the Eastern North Carolina community by providing free bi-annual events that promote the selling, buying and recycling of gently used children and maternity items.
Participants are able to purchase affordable prices up to 90% off retail prices, and consignors are able to generate 75% profit from the sale price of their items. All remaining items will be donated to a local Wilmington charity.
According to Pass It On Cape Fear, items for sale include clothing, shoes, toys, baby equipment, strollers, highchairs, DVD’s books, maternity wear etc. Items are inspected for quality control.
All consignors use an online tagging system to inventory their items and track progress. There will be a full service tagging option this year for those parents that don’t have time to tag themselves. After gathering all items together, drop it off at Arab Shrine Club and the company will do the rest.
