NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – It's almost that time of year again -- time for free pancakes, that is!
For the eighth year in a row, IHOP is offering a free short stack of its buttermilk pancakes to guests all day Tuesday, Feb. 5, according to a news release from restaurant officials.
The pancakes are part of National Pancake Day, and in return, diners are asked to make a voluntary donation to support the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Guests will also have the choice of buying "Miracle Balloons" for $1 and $5 each throughout January leading up to National Pancake Day.
The news release states that the restaurant will be holding the charity event Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
