Doctor joins Wilmington Health’s Infectious Disease and Travel Clinic | Business

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington Health Infectious Diseases and Travel Clinic has added a new doctor to its team, according to a news release.

Gina Berthold, MD, an infectious disease specialist, will be accepting patients at 1202 Medical Center Drive.

Dr. Berthold earned her bachelor’s degree from Erskine College, Due West, SC, and her medical degree from University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia.

Her residency was completed in internal medicine and pediatrics, and her fellowship was in infectious diseases at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University, Springfield, MA.
