Wilmington Health’s first rheumatologist added to practice | Business

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington Health’s first rheumatologist, Ronald George, MD, PhD, is now seeing patients, according to a news release.

Dr. George diagnoses and treats diseases of the joints, bones, and muscles, including arthritis and osteoporosis.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Elon University, and went on to attain his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia, Augusta. His residency was completed at Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University, and his fellowship in rheumatology was completed at Duke University.
