WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) –Halyburton Park will be offering several upcoming nature programs soon, according to a news release.

The subjects, meeting time and costs for each class vary, and all pre-registration is required for all classes.

The list of programs is listed as follows (for individual descriptions, click here)

 

Log Life (ages 2-5) 

  • Monday, Sept. 10 – 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 11 - 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Cost:  $3

Snake and Turtle Feeding

  • Wed., Sept. 19 – 4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Cost $1

Fossils of the Deep (ages 5-14) 

  • Thursday, Sept. 20 – 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $5

Sunset Beach-Bird Island Bird Hike

  • Thursday, Sept. 20 – 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  •  Cost: $10/participant

Happy Hoppers (ages 2-5) 

  • Monday, Sept. 24 – 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.  
  • Tuesday, Sept. 25 – 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Cost: $3

Migratory Bird Workshop

  • Wed., Sept. 26 – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Cost: $10/participant

Intro to Drawing (ages 5-14)  

  • Wed., Sept. 26 – 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $10

Kayak-Sunset/Full Moon Adventure on Town Creek

  • Monday, Sept. 29 – 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Cost:  $40
