Cape Fear Museum celebrates grass roots | Arts & Culture

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Come and join the Cape Fear Museum this month as they celebrate Grass Roots: African Origins of an American Art  with fun programs for all ages.

On Saturday Feb. 18, the Learning Center will be featuring African Art, where families can discover African influences in Cape Fear art and culture. On Sunday Feb. 19, Cape Fear Skies will have the African sky viewable in its portable planetarium.

According to their news release, Cape Fear Associates, Inc. will host a fundraiser luncheon on Monday, Feb. 20 and the Community Conversations series about the Civil War continues on Tuesday, Feb.21. Make sure to bring your friends and family to join the fun activities that the Cape Fear Museum has to offer.
