Officials investigate cause of house fire | 911
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Firefighters say a house fire south of Monkey Junction in the Beau Rivage golf resort community is a total loss.
The fire was reported at 1017 Rivage Promenade Monday morning. Police say there was a family inside, but they got out safely.
Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze but believe it was accidental. They say the fire sparked in the back porch and roared up to the attic.
