WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The Wilmington Police Department needs the public’s help to find who is responsible for kicking a door off its hinges at a home on Pine Hollow Drive.
Around 4:16 a.m. on Friday, a resident in the 4600 block of Pine Hollow Drive was woken up by someone attempting to break down the victim’s door, according to WPD spokesperson Kevin Smith. When the suspect failed, he/she began ringing the doorbell repeatedly then ran off.
Around 5:09 a.m., a resident in the 4500 block of Pine Hollow Drive reported that an unknown suspect knocked the door off its hinges and then fled in a dark-colored Ford F-150 pick-up truck.
Neither one of the residents could provide a description of the suspect.
